I have seen and experienced so much that I can’t possibly write a blog about all of it so here are some glimpses instead. If you are interested in knowing more about anything I post or just want to say, “hey!”,
don’t be afraid to comment below;)

I don’t have many words about this. It’s terrible and really funny at the same time. Don’t be too offended if a foreign language speaker calls you fat. They may not realize it is rude since this is in their school books

That awkward moment when you show up to your first class EVER and only 1 student is there… they eventually showed up.

Lychee fruit juice is my favorite! They don’t have it in the USA and I had no idea they would have it here! Yay!

What I eat for dinner almost every day at the school. It only costs $1-$2USD and even though it may not look it, it’s delicious!! Those nasty looking eggs and tomatoes are my FAVORITE!

I was wrong when I thought this city was small. It’s only small on the Chinese city scale. This is the square where people from the ages 1 month- 100 years old come and socialize, dance, and just enjoy the night every single night!

The little girls swarming my new friend (and fellow ESL teacher), Stephanie and I during a break from their dance class in the square.
Thanks for checking out what I’ve been up to! Please don’t forget to #chitchatforChina to help me #love2know!
I have 1,300 students each week which means I can’t even chitchat about each of them specifically. If you are interested in chitchatting specifically for a student (or multiple students), PLEASE contact me in the comments section or by email! I had no idea I would have so many students this year. It makes my job much harder, but I know I can still do it!
